Video reaction to my opening Edelstein for the very first time

This has been a much anticipated ink for everyone, but me personally as I’ve been waiting to ink up my new Pelikan pen until the Edelstein came in! I’m like a kid a Christmas, and I wanted to share the first time I laid eyes on the Pelikan inks as I unpack them. Enjoy!

Update!!! As of 9/24, I sold out of Sapphire and Topaz, but got more in already! It’s back up, but I don’t know for how long. I’m going to work to try to keep it in stock, but it seems a lot of folks want to try this ink!

Pelikan Edelstein inks are available at GouletPens.com.

  • Great video Brian,
Let's hope we see one of these in our October Ink Drop. 🙂

  • Haha, I won't even get your hopes up on this one. There definitely won't be an Edelstein in October's drop. I didn't get it in enough time or enough quantity to be able to pull it off. Maybe in future months when the initial rush on the ink has died down and I can get a steady supply of the ink! October will still be some awesome colors though 😉 Autumn Leaves!

Oh sad! I was hoping for some "Mandarin" with the Autumn Leaves theme. It is completely understandable though – with 92 or so members, you'd probably use your whole supply!

  • Paul

I was hoping to see you ink up that pen with Sapphire!

  • Ink Drop is 110 members now, not 92! That's a lot of ink, so I have to select what I use for the Drop based on what's available! I guess theoretically I could use Mandarin for the Drop as I have just enough of the ink to use for it, but I don't know that I would have more of it to keep in stock after the Drop goes out!! I would hate to send out teaser samples to everyone without being able to offer full bottles too. Perhaps in a later month, October is just too soon!

Paul, the ink-up is coming! I already did it, filmed it, I just have to post it, which I'll do a couple of days from now. I've been rapid-fire posting for the last 24-hours! I'm hoping to be able to get reviews up for all of the Edelstein colors very soon. But I'm just a *tad* busy right at the moment!! 😉

  • Hooray — All that's missing is the tree and stockings…

    @"Ink Drop is 110 members now, not 92! That's a lot of ink…"

So that's what, 4½ bottles you'd need to put aside for the club? Doesn't seem like a huge percentage of your allotment considering the size of those single-color boxes you were unloading off the truck.

Would seem to be entirely appropriate to include a sample of a widely anticipated new ink line to the cadre members of this first-ever monthly ink sample club.

Agree though, you might have to include the disclaimer that full bottles might not be available to all Ink Drop members who want them.

  • Classic, love the intro! 😉

  • "Ooo… that's sexy!"

Hahaha this video made me laugh out loud. Rachel, your vid skills are killer!
