Aurora, Omas, Montegrappa, Online, Pelikan stuff is in

We have been teasing this week about some new brands we're bringing in at GouletPens.com. We started getting some of it in (yes, I said some of it). Here's what we have in:
  • Aurora ink
  • Omas ink
  • Montegrappa ink
  • Online ink and pens
  • Pelikan Pelikanos and Pelikano Jr's

We have a bunch more stuff on the way too! We're expecting more of it over the next week or so, and we'll announce it as it comes in. We're working on taking nice pictures, doing up ink swabs to add to the Swab Shop, and making up samples of the new inks. Rachel's working hard to get everything up on the site, so it may take us a few days to get everything up. Please be patient with us as we work to get caught up with all the new stuff. Yay! New toys :)

What do you think so far? What else would you like to see on the way?

  3. Me too! I'm pretty slammed today so I won't happen until the weekend. We'll be working really hard to get everything up and in good showing condition :)

  4. We're trying! They just changed distributors so they're not available here in the US, but we're seeing what we can do. ;) So for now, they're just medium.

  5. Yeah, the Visions look really nice, I'm kind of a sucker for that anodized aluminum look like with the Lamy Al-Stars and Platinum Plaisirs.

We're stocking them in all the available nibs. Are you asking about separate nibs? Looking at our catalog it doesn't appear that the nibs are available on their own, only in sets like the calligraphy sets you see in the first two pictures.

  6. Are the Visions heavy? I'm looking for a good hefty fountain pen.

  7. Yes, I was referring to separate nibs.
Our local pen shop sells the nibs separately and I know of one online shop in the US that sells them as well.

  8. The medium nib on these pens produces a really nice line.
We have 4 of the 6 nibs.  I plan on doing a follow-up review of all the nibs on my blog once we get the last two nibs.

  9. They may have old stock. The new distributor doesn't make individual nibs available, but we'll inquire about them.

  10. They have some good weight to them, but they probably aren't as heavy as they look. Capped, they're 25g, 15g uncapped (body only).

  11. It's nice to hear about new inventory. I'm glad you got the Pelikano. I might pick one up at some point.

It would be cool if you guys could look into Kaweco, whenever, no pressure.
