It’s been a long time coming, but I’ve finally jumped over the technical hurdles required to turn my Ink Nouveau videos into Podcasts on iTunes! This means that now you can download all of my best video and audio files and take them with you wherever you want on your computer or portable device.
The video explains it all, essentially you can find Ink Nouveau as a podcast just through a simple search on the iTunes store or a web browser search for “Ink Nouveau Podcast”. All my podcasts are free.
One thing Rachel and I are planning to do now is record our live Write Time broadcasts as audio files and put them in the podcast. A video would be much too cumbersome in a downloadable format (each week ends up being about an hour and a half), audio will be much more manageable. We’ll still post the Write Time videos here on the blog.
I’ve also considered doing a ‘fireside chat’-style audio podcast every couple of weeks. I tend to talk mostly about fountain pen products here at Ink Nouveau, and I would love to share a little more into the ‘mind of Brian’. The idea behind it is that I have some unique life experiences and ideas about how a business should be run, and I would love to share some of these things. I haven’t nailed down exactly what this type of thing would be about, I’m really just thinking out loud. Perhaps it would be best for a different podcast and not to get entangled with Ink Nouveau, I don’t know. I’m pretty much typing out loud here, please share your feedback with me on this one.
All-in-all, I’m really just trying to get the word out there about the joy of fountain pens as much as I can, and podcasting is a great way to reach more people. If you have any ideas about how the podcast format can better be used in this way, or if you have any other methods of sharing beyond podcasting, I’m all ears!
