J.Herbin "Emerald of Chivor" Ink Available in August!


The newest ink to the 1670 Anniversary fountain pen ink collection has been announced by J. Herbin! We are excited to be carrying Emerald of Chivor, available in August!   3. This will sell out quickly!! Lovely ink, wow. Great photos of the sheen and sparkle. Looks like it will do best with a very wet 1.5 mm stub!

  5. Do you know if this is a sheen like in Diamine Majestic Blue or Sailor inks or like the gold mica flecks in Stormy Grey?



    The pictures looks kinda like a traditional sheen but I'm not sure.

  7. Nina, it isn't that clear to me either, but the written description at Goulet says it has gold flecks like Stormy Grey. I'm excited about this. I love the shading and the reddish sheen that seems to be coming through. Gotta have a bottle! Already signed up for an email notice earlier this afternoon.

  10. Hey Nina! It's going to be like Stormy Grey more than the other inks. The first 1670 ink, Rouge Hematite, gives a lot of color differentiation just by have those gold flecks in it. I think that may be the case with this ink as well. Since we don't have a bottle yet, I'm not 100% sure. We'll have to wait and see! :)
