Fall Preview: Pelikan M205 Amethyst, Pelikan M600 Pink

Update 8/24: We've decided to regularly stock the Pelikan M205 Amethyst (thanks to your interest), and handle the Pelikan M600 Pink as a special order. The M205 should be arriving in September; and for the M600, just email Rachel at specialorders@gouletpens.com to place your pre-order. Thanks so much!

As of this posting we don't have any Pelikan pens for sale on our site, but these new special edition colors have us reconsidering! We'd love your feedback to help us make the decision to order these. Here's a sneak peek at two new Pelikan fountain pens coming out soon....

Pelikan Classic M205 Amethyst
The amethyst purple demonstrator M205 beautifully matches the Pelikan Edelstein Amethyst ink that came out this year. So much so, that this fountain pen will be offered as part of a set with a bottle of this ink, as well as separately. We speculate this will be the first in a series of M205 fountain pens to match the Edelstein Ink of the Year (at least, we sure hope so!). This is such a great idea.
This fountain pen has a piston mechanism which you can see through the purple resin, silver trim, and a stainless steel nib. It will be available in nib sizes extra-fine, fine, medium, and broad.

The M205 Amethyst fountain pen will be offered alone at an MSRP of $175 (our price would be $140), or as a gift set for an MSRP of $215 (our price would be $172). Available in the US this September.

Pelikan Souverän M600 Pink
The M600 has quickly become one of my favorite pens. I love the size, how it writes, and the beauty (I have a Vibrant Green in broad). So when I saw this pink special edition, I fell even deeper in love. Though clearly marketed to the female audience, I think men shouldn't be afraid to own one of these beauties too.
It continues on Pelikan's distinctive look with the pink stripes and piston mechanism, complemented by the ivory resin cap & grip and the gold trim. This fountain pen has a 14kt two-tone gold nib that will be available in sizes extra-fine, fine, medium, and broad. It is finished off with a matching gift box with a laced pink ribbon.
The M600 Pink Special Edition fountain pen will be offered at an MSRP of $625 (our price would be $500). Available in the US this September.

I've already decided I need one of each (in broad, of course!). Brian can just call it his big Christmas gift to me. ;)

What about you - would you consider adding one of these beauties to your collection, or as a gift for that special someone this holiday season?

Write On,
Rachel Goulet
