Shareable Wishlists at Goulet Pens!

For years you’ve been asking us for the ability to share your wishlist with your family and friends. We’re thrilled to be able to announce that you can now do this on our site, just in time for the holidays! Here’s how to do it.

1) Log in to your account at GouletPens.com (or create one, if you haven’t yet!) and add some items to your wishlist. Just click the heart on any product page to add it to your list.

2) Go to your My Account page and go to your Wishlist. Enter in the email address(es) of the people you’d like to send your wish list to. You can enter multiple emails separated by commas if you’d like. Click the “Send Email” button!

3) That’s it! Your recipient will receive an email with the items on your list that would look something like this. Each product name and picture links to the product page on our site.

Please note this isn’t a registry – it won’t mark things off your wishlist as purchased. It’s just an easy way to share the exact items (down to the nib size or other specific options) with your friends and family.

We hope you found this helpful! Happy shopping. 🙂

Yay!!!! just in time for Christmas! So happy!
I have been asking for this since I first purchased from you all in 2012!

    • Lydia At Goulet Pens

I’m glad we could make it happen, Todd!

Thank you for making this possible, as a family member was just asking last night for my Christmas list. 🙂

  • MP

Wow! Jane Doe really doesn’t mind asking her family to give expensive gifts! 😉 Love the new feature. Thank you!

    • Tom Johnson

I wonder if Ms Doe will be disappointed Christmas day! What does she do if she gets three Optima pens?

      • MP

That would be a good problem to have. 😀

        • Tom Johnson

Maybe we should send Jane Doe our wishlists in case she gets more than one?

          • MP

            🙂

There seems to be a limit to the length of the list. My list only shows 20 items, despite the “wishlist” button having said that items have been added.

    • Tom Johnson

Charles, when Goulet had to go to redo their web system, I had the same problem. Asked why the things I added to my wish list weren’t showing up and I was told that there is a limit. I had 25 in the old system, and the new system wouldn’t handle that many. I was using the Wish List to store products I would re-order every year or two just for convenience. I bet there is still a limit.

    • Lydia At Goulet Pens

Hmmmm… I’ll have to ask about that, Charles. Let me check.

    • Lydia At Goulet Pens

So sorry about the mix up on that one, Charles. Our Customer Care team is working on getting that limit removed. It somehow got accidentally triggered.

      • Charles

I’m not terribly concerned, I just wanted to bring it to light. Thanks for all your help

  • Tom Johnson

This is good, glad you are able to work this into the system.

One other thing: Is it possible to add the capability of moving an item from shopping cart to wishlist? Sometimes I have to “thin the herd” a bit. I’d love to be able to save such items to my wishlist instead of having to delete and re-find them all over again upon my return. (I understand I could just put everything I want on my wishlist to begin with, then move selections to the cart, but my wishlist would be way, WAY out of control, not to mention possibly clipped, as discussed by Charles and Tom in these comments). Possible?

    • Lydia At Goulet Pens

Let me pass that suggestion along, Marla, and see what I can find out. 🙂

      • Lydia At Goulet Pens

Hi, Marla. Unfortunately, we don’t have the capability to add that feature at this time but I will keep it in mind to suggest if it ever becomes an option!

  • Harry Alleva

Let me just say I love the way you set up your products on these blogs! So attractive!

    • Lydia At Goulet Pens

      Thank you, Harry!
