Thursday Things: Seaside Springtime

Spring is in bloom at Goulet Pens with the release of our latest seasonal edition of the Edison Nouveau Premiere, Seaglass. Since we simply can’t shake this pen from our minds, it seemed totally fitting for this week’s Thursday Things to center around this gorgeous pen. We dove into the sea of coordinating pastel products and brought you some treasures that we think accentuate this striking writing tool nicely. Grab your sunglasses and join us in a trip to the shores of writing greatness with the products featured in this week’s Thursday Things: Seaside Springtime.

I bought the Seaglass pen, despite the fact I dislike turquoise and don’t really care for pastels. How odd is that? For some reason it just calls to me and I cannot resist.

    • Lydia At Goulet Pens

Gotta love those moments when you find a pen like that, Cass!

There are actually two pen and ink combos I’m stuck on right now. The Lamy Al-Star Pacific and ink and the Forest Green Conklin Duragraph and Diamine Sherwood green. But alas! I can only get one!

    • Lydia At Goulet Pens

Oooo! Very tough choices, David! My suggestion would be the Pacific as it is a limited edition that will only be around for a short time. The Duragraph and Sherwood Green aren’t going anywhere and will still be here going strong when you’re ready for another pen and ink combo. Just my suggestion though. I’m sure you’ll adore either one!

      • David L.

Good suggestion. I think I’ll do that.

Oh, what a beautiful selection of colors, shades, and wonderful things. A masterpiece among Thursday Things masterpieces. This is a natural followup to the release of the Sea Glass pen, I love it. I can stare at these photos for a long time, mesmerizing (as are the pens).

I love J. Herbin’s Rouille D’ancre in the Lamy LX Rose Gold. But my absolute favorite (at the moment) is Monteverde Brown Sugar in my Nemosine Singularity Onyx.

Another beautiful TT! The selections really show off the beauty of the new Seaglass SE. It is indeed a lovely pen. I love the shells, too. Believe you have some Rosy Keyhole Limpets there. These are common along the SE coast of Florida and the Keys. Were these souvenirs of a recent trip to Key West?
Any turquoise pen and ink combo take me to the beach. I’m sure the Seaglass will do the same!

    • Lydia At Goulet Pens

Yes! Sarah brought them back when she went to Key West recently. 🙂

Lovely as ever! Right now I have Pilot Iroshizuku Ku-jaku in my TWSBI 580 AL, and it is gorgeous in every way. Beautiful to look at and a beautiful writing experience!
