    Easy. House Stark.

None of those GoT pens strike my fancy, but if somebody held a gun to my head and made me choose I’d say Baratheon. Black and gold always look classy together.

  • Tom Johnson

I’m not really into themed pens like this series, but if I were I already have two pens selected to match two houses: the burgundy Pilot Metal Falcon and the Burnished Gold Collier. I would add the Delta Matte Ivory Journal to the Stark collection, I think it fits. Still can’t decide, great pens in all four collections. Again, photographs and layouts that are so stunning.

    • Lydia At Goulet Pens

The Journal would be a great addition. Nice call, Tom!

  • Kathy

I may be the only person in the US who hasn’t seen the Game of Thrones, so I’m not really into this series, but that Burnished Gold Collier has me drooling. The photography, as always, is stunning. Thanks again for sharing your talents with us!

    • Tom Johnson

Kathy, you and I make two who have not seen GoT. I was drooling over my BG Collier this morning looking at the morning sun bringing out all of its highlights, 😍

      • Kathy

It is a gorgeous pen, Tom. Every photo looks slightly different as the light brings out so many highlights. Just stunning! I may have to break my “no pens right now” promise to myself! Does the Collier feel like a large pen? Is it comfortable for extended writing periods?

        • Lydia At Goulet Pens

My two cents, Kathy: I would say it doesn’t feel like a larger pen weight-wise at all and the grip section is only a hair wider than the Nouveau Premiere so it’s comfortable there too. The Collier rests so nicely in the hand when writing though! I loved it. The only downside for me was that it didn’t post but it is so nicely balanced that you don’t need to post it.

        • Tom Johnson

Kathy, Lydia says it perfectly, I can write wth the Collier just as well as with my Nouveau Premiere. As comfortable as any pen I’ve ever written with. Give yourself a housewarming gift 🎁 🖋

        Make that three 🙂

This TT is AMAZING!!! The X450 closely resombles mine (sadly not ordered from the best pen retailor in the world, Goulet Pens). And that Metal Falcon is the precise one I’ve been thinking of. The Vanishing Point is the same. I had been looking at the Matte Black, but yesterday, this one cought my attention. The Bordeaux Sport… I have a black one, but it may be time to add to that! So many great pens here!!

I couldn’t choose a house set even if I tried!

  • Oh, wow! Midori discontinued their A5 notebook? Or is Goulet just no longer carrying it?

    • Lydia At Goulet Pens

They were discontinued. The Goulet notebooks might be a good stand in though!

      • Wow, that’s surprising! I wonder the fate of the goat leather cover – I love mine dearly.

I’ve actually got one of your notebooks and it’s wonderful 🙂 I much prefer Tomoe River’s paper color (both white and cream) to that of the Midori notebooks… they were much too yellow for my taste. I had a grid one and it’s sitting partially used – the color was just too much for me personally. Still, they seemed relatively popular so I’m a bit surprised. Oh well! It’s not like we’re hurting for notebook choices, right? As I sit here with Nanami Seven Seas, Leuchtturm, Goulet, and Clairefontaine notebooks, as well as a Rhodia pad scattered around my desk… ha!
