Is there any update on the forthcoming batch of Noodler's Flex pens? Thanks.

  • Sven Opitz

I would be interested in a video where you show all your pens! Sad thing is I would be able to almost match you pen by pen (not the models, but the quantity)… Funny thing is, since I started to write with fountain pens again, each year, around June I buy a new Lamy2K, so I now have 5, sinceΒ  started 5 years ago (with a Pelikan, I left the L2K in the shop and got it a week later). I don't know why, there is just this urge…

    Re: XBox
I have heard the fatality rate, if there isn't a blog entry for a day, is quite low, so enjoy the games πŸ™‚

The Noodlers Roller balls: I'll have to buy a couple of them in my next order, to replace the Kawecos ink roller balls I gave to some friends… that was no success…

Aston Cases: Aren't they a bit big to lug around?

    Nice video, as usual!

I would like to put in my vote for a fitted (women's) tee with Goulet branding. πŸ™‚

  • A collection of L2ks…there could be worse things in life! πŸ˜‰ Haha, I apprecaite your xbox comment πŸ™‚ I haven't turned it on all week though, been too busy working. Guess my plan to force myself to take time off is failing me…

I've heard mixed things about the Kaweco rollerballs. I'm working on getting a couple for myself just to try out. We'll see.

The 20 pen Aston case isn't too bad to carry around casually, but then anything that is going to protect 20 pens will be somewhat big. It fits well in my laptop case though. I actually don't use it to travel much, just to keep around the house. I wanted to have a whole variety of pens accessible at once. Any wooden desk storage for pens that holds 20 or more is much larger than the Aston case and isn't nearly as portable.

  • Noted! πŸ˜‰

This is perhaps a better place to ask (I did send an email directly to you, Brian) – The Aston pen cases are very nice, but too many slots. Is there one that holds a few pens only, like three or four? If not, the six pen case Rachael has looks promising. You might think about adding size variety to the selections. I don't relish sending off to Singapore for a three slot "leather" pen case on the auction place.

  • Aston does make cases that hold fewer than 6 pens, and we used to carry them. Here's their full range: https://www.astonleather.com/pen-cases-c56.html

The cases that hold fewer pens are not the same style as the 6, 10, and 20 pen cases…we carried them before and they were only so-so in terms of popularity, so we discontinued them from our store. We brought back the ones we did because people were asking for them. I could see us getting the 6 pen cases like what Rachel has if there's interest in them, but we're not going to carry any of the other ones. We can always special order though.
