I’ll use fountain pens to take notes at work and work on my NaNoWriMo Novel.

    I love fountain pens.

I was going to celebrate it by treating myself to an Amber Monza, but they are currently out of stock. I also plan to try another calligraphy font. I can’t wait! Thanks for all the great deals! Side note: When do you think the 80ml. bottles of Diamine Sherwood Green will be in? Thank you!

I purchased a Black Pilot Metal Falcon Soft Extra-Fine fountain pen.

I’m planning on completing my ThanksGiveway letter today. Then maybe playing around with some pens, updating my journal, replacing the ink in my two new Pilot Varsity pens (awesome pens by the way). And, since it’s Friday, I’ll be watching Brian’s new Q&A too šŸŽ‰ āœ’ļø šŸ“– šŸ’»

I am celebrating by trying to lasso in some of my coworkers…sent this to them this morning:

Maybe you didn’t know, but today is National Fountain Pen Day. Being a devout fountain pen hobbiest (collector? hoarder? junkie?), I am interested in sharing my passion. Seriously, you carry a $500 phone and write with a $2 pen? So I have inked up some “gateway pens” for you to try and brought along some other “show and tell” pens that I might let you touch….I’ll be in the kitchen table area from 3-4. I’ll be the tall blonde with ink on her fingers.

Please let us know if you got any converts.

I’m currently enjoying my recent find. A Cross Medalist fp that I’ve inked with Edelstein Sapphire ink. I’ve been doodling with it all night. Also I can’t wait to try it out with my other fave inks. Happy fountain pen day everyone.

Hope everyone had a Happy Fountain Pen Day!

I celebrated by picking up a few shimmering ink samples for Christmas cards. I also ordered a Caron d’Ache water brush pen. I think shading and color washes look so pretty, I want to give it a try. I love using my fountain pens and just got into drawing, mostly with simple YouTube videos or using my kids’ drawing books. One of my older girls is talented with art, and she doesn’t mind giving me tips.

The fun thing is, my youngest two girls have started joining me as I practice drawing. It’s been a great way to introduce them to fountain pens. (And my 10 year old already says she prefers the Al Star over the Metropolitans.)šŸ˜Š
