“…waves of wonderful writing.” I LOVE THIS! In addition to seeing fantastic photos, wonderful pens and accessories, all artistically laid out in astounding color combinations, we have great writing too! Another beautiful Thursday Things, so lovely. The shells, stones, just dreamy, perfect for day dreaming of a tropical beach. Ocean inspired pen – I think my sapphire flake Edison Beaumont fits. My two inks would be Liberty’s Elysium and Emerald of Chivor. I love the Ocean Swirl Pelikan, reminds me of the Majestic Pine Winter 2015 Nouveau Premiere, which I now wish I’d picked up back then. Thanks for making my Thursday special, I missed TT last week.

So glad you enjoyed it, Tom! You are very right about the similarities between the Pelikan and Edison. I can totally see that.

That Lamy Studio in Racing Green is definitely on my wishlist.

Until then, my favorite combination for “sea” colors is a Lamy Petrol inked with Akkerman Dutch Masters 05 Isreal’s Zeeblauw.

And if I want a sea color with pizzazz, I’ll ink up with Diamine Shimmertastic Tropical Glow.

Edit to Add: I put the Tropical Glow in my Pilot Metropolitan in Turquoise.

I LOVE the Lamy Al-Star in Pacific or Turquoise with the matching ink…I also love my Lamy Safari in Petrol…with matching …happy to have the full bottle of Petrol.

I can’t stop admiring that Pelikan! Too bad they are all out of my budget. Like Tom, Emerald of Chivor would be one of my top picks. Noodler’s Navajo Turquoise is a favorite of mine. I think that I could make it fit in any circumstance. ๐Ÿ™‚ Thank you for another Thursday Things!

Can’t beat the Emerald of Chivor, David! That’s a great choice. Do you own a bottle of it yet?

      • David L.

Not yet, just samples. I will as soon as the Holidays are over, but until then, I’m still only on samples.

This may be my favorite TT ever. My love of diving combined with my favorite pen and ink colors. Oh my goodness. This is gorgeous. I have the Lamy Petrol and Kaweco pens, and am drooling over the Pelikan. The Lamy Studio in the new Racing Green is beautiful. Just wish I liked the grip on the Studio. Too slippery for me, though the pen is nice. The inks….I love Diamine Marine in any pen. I wish Pelikan would make a 600 Pen in the Ocean Swirl. I have an M800 and itโ€™s too big for me to use comfortably. But that color is perfect!

I immediately thought of you when I saw it! I’m so glad you enjoyed it!

Me too, I knew Kathy would love this TT. It has got to be on next year’s Goulet calendar.
