Hi there, fountain pen friends! October is upon us again and we’re pretty excited. Halloween, the return of crisp fall weather, and best of all, INKTOBER! This initiative by artist Jake Parker aims to encourage drawing and improve skills and makes a perfect excuse to use your fountain pens more. Each day in October, there is a new one word prompt to help inspire your sketch for the day. You can find the 2018 list of prompts below:
Stay tuned to this blog throughout the month as we upload new videos of drawings created by our team members. You can also check out some of our desings from last year at the bottom of this blog. Not sure how to use your pens for art? Our blog, 12 Artists and How They Use Fountain Pens, may help! Our Tools for Sketching shopping guide has some great items to help you get started. Be sure to use hashtag #Inktober when posting your works so others can share in your joy and creativity throughout the month.
