I am more inclined towards reserved colors, but this is such a beautiful spread! You make me want them all!

  • Sara Hagen

I like both. I lean toward reserved colors, but I have a 3776 Nice Lilas which is pink and filled with Iroshizuku Tsutsuji.

    • Lydia At Goulet Pens

      Sounds like a beautiful combination!

      • Sara Hagen

Thanks Lydia! I got a whole bottle and have been using it in my Nice Lilas. Ever since.

    • Kathy

I love my 3776 Nice Lilas! I filled mine with Diamine Hope Pink, but the Iroshizuku will be great on the next fill!

      • Sara Hagen

Isn’t it a great pen! I’ll have to try some other pink inks when I get low on samples.

  • David L.

Wow, that’s bright! It’s a nice way to brighten this rainy day. I tend to go for the more reserved colors, but I’m tempted to get a few turquoise and light blue inks soon. I am planning to get a highlighter Preppy with my next order along with a Plaisir. Can’t wait to try them out!

    • Lydia At Goulet Pens

Sounds like an exciting order, David! I would recommend Diamine Marine, Noodler’s Navajo Turquoise, Robert Oster Fire and Ice, and Pilot Iroshizuku Ku-Jaku for good inks to try. They are favorites around here.

      • David L.

Thank you, Lydia! I have already tried Noodler’s Navajo Turquoise and love it. Fire and Ice and Diamine Marine are already in the cart, as is Lamy Turquoise, and now that you mention it, Ku-Jaku would be a great addition! Thank you!

This made my Thursday morning so bright! Jolted me fully awake. Love the cool (hot) colors, like a candy display, full of all kinds of goodies. Most of my pens are reserved, but i can see some of these pens on a office or school desk, fun and practical. Nearly all my pens are reserved, classic colors, but my Sonoran Sunset Pearlette is a brilliant flash of fire. I have Noodler’s Rachmaninoff, and would have used it when I worked for editing, margin notes, underlining. It is so electric and visible, yet easy to read. Probably best diluted with distilled water, my bottle is very thick, but flows well. This is a great Thursday Things and one that won’t be forgotten quickly. Perfect for back to school.

Gosh, I love both reserved and bright colors. My last order included a black/silver Aurora Duo Cart and the seasonal Edison Nouveau Premiere. I love this layout of bright colors. Just the perfect picture as we recover from Irma here in FL. (I’m fine…but many are not…)

Keeping everyone affected by the hurricane in my thoughts <3 Can't imagine going through that

Seems like the 1980’s fluorescents are back in style. Not exactly my cup of tea, I enjoy deeper, richer colors.

  • Kathleen S.

I love bright colors! It was a small bowl the color of that orange Caran d’Ache that triggered my love of orange. I may have to buy that pen at some point…

  • I love color… and “match” pen to ink a lot so I know what I am reaching for! I would try more pens but I love the calligraphy stubs and so many don’t have them. I recommend the highlighters! They are as staple in the office — no more plastic in the trash.

What a beautiful Thursday Things! It really brightened my day!! 😉 I actually prefer more reserved colors with my pens, but I enjoy both reserved and bright colored inks.
